Joycline Smith

"Miss-Joy"

Joycline Smith

Teacher. Pilot. Entrepreneur. Mother. She lived every chapter of her life at full throttle — and she made certain that everyone around her did the same.

Joycline Smith — known by everyone who loved her as Miss-Joy — was a woman who refused to accept that life had limits. Born in Wolverhampton, raised with an unshakeable belief that she could do anything she set her mind to, she spent her 49 years proving that belief right, over and over again.

She was a teacher who changed lives, a commercial pilot who broke barriers, an entrepreneur who built financial freedom whilst raising three remarkable children on her own, and a friend who made every person she met feel like the most important person in the room. She was, in the truest sense, extraordinary.

Joycline did not simply live her life — she celebrated it. Every milestone, every achievement, every ordinary Tuesday was worthy of joy in her eyes. "Life is not a rehearsal," she would say. She lived by those words completely.

"Life is not a rehearsal — celebrate every single day."
